First the Page kit, as it seams to be the law in the UK at the mo to stick a union jack on anything that dosent move out of the way quick enough,it would be rude not to....
....the papers in the kit are Rubby Rocket and are beautiful quality, I used an image of the Union Jack and cut bit away to make a stencil so that I could ink the flag onto the papers. I used two vintage photos from the family album... the top one is of a local party for Coronation Day in which you an see my Mum with her brother and sisters in the right hand corner of the photo and their auntie in the bottom left. The bottom photo is of a street celebration for VE day in 1945. My auntie is in this one aged 5.
Staying on a vintage theme The class that I designed for Karen was all about my Grandmother and her family, I loved the book when I had finished it but think Karen wanted to kill me after taking the class ( have a look at what she put on her blog..)!!! the book is full of stamping, inking, painting, embossing, gesso and misting, not to mention all the die cutting and making flower establishments.... sorry Karen :O)
and this photo shows Karen's cat Lilly trying to help with the photo!
And finally a few photos f the Jubilee weekend, we put on a BBQ in the pub to raise some money for Help 4 Heros and had a fab day, it was hard work but it was worth it to see everyone having a great time!!
