Well I have stayed at home all day today as feeling a bit pants!! sore throat cough etc, hoping to shake it off as have a busy week at work (nothing new there..LOL).
So I took the opportunity to catch up on more crafting, these are two 6x6 pages made for the monthly CB forum page swap...
The theme was "My Crafting Space" and i thought i would do one of crafting at home and one crafting away. They each have an accordion book on the page that contains pictures, one of my craft room and one with pics of other places i craft.
seams a bit sad to split them up now!

Party!!!!
Tonight is Mums retirement party, marking the end of 20 years in the Ambulance service. I tend to get a bit sentimental at times and I think today is one of those times!
I look back and remember when Mum did her training, the parties, the stories, the jokes.. not all of them clean!, the dispute in the 1980's, the Air Ambulance crash, how the guys from the station helped us all when Dad was ill in hospital, good times and bad.
I cant help but think about how she should be enjoying her retirement with Dad by her side, but it wasn't meant to be xx I will miss him tonight and no doubt Mum will too, but now's not the time to show it so I hope I can be strong and help celebrate and remember the good not the bad.
Apparently I am in charge of the drinking money for everyone... as I don't drink and no doubt by 830 I will be the only responsible (sober) adult on the premises...LOL
well off to put on the glad rags :O)
This is what I have done as a gift.... didn't know what to get xx
Another job done!!

Scrap File
Made this file with the gorgeous making memories papers and fancy brads, wasn't sure what to do with it a first.... then had a bright idea to organise the scraps!!!! also used up some of those 12x12 plastic bags you don't know what to do with but can't chuck out!!!!
So I have now made a rule that if the scraps get too many to fit in the box its time to through some things out!!! LOL

Been working hard for church too, had a party for our women's group and i had to do game/quiz about family history, we played "Whose Baby" which was great fun! then Thursday night i was helping the Young women (12-18yr) make small gifts for Mothers Day........
